Quick answer

No. FreeMessaging.ai does not charge campaigns a monthly platform subscription fee for the standard service.

Is There a Monthly Platform Subscription?

No. FreeMessaging.ai does not require a monthly software subscription for the standard service.

A campaign does not need to pay a recurring platform charge simply to maintain access to FreeMessaging.ai or to continue running an approved messaging program.

What Does $0 Platform Fee Mean?

For the standard FreeMessaging.ai service, the campaign does not pay recurring software charges such as:

This pricing model is intended to let campaigns start or expand SMS outreach without adding another fixed software expense to the campaign budget.

  • A monthly platform subscription
  • A monthly user-seat charge
  • A recurring software access fee
  • A platform markup added simply for using the messaging system
  • An additional managed-sending fee for the standard messaging service

What Costs Can Still Occur Each Month?

Budget reports and carrier cost documents on a conference table.
Monthly carrier, number, and registration costs can still apply. The platform fee does not.

A campaign may still have direct usage or third-party costs during any month in which messaging is active. Those are not monthly platform fees.

Twilio messaging and phone-number costs — Actual costs associated with sending and receiving messages and maintaining the campaign’s messaging number.

Registration or compliance costs — Applicable third-party costs for Campaign Verify, CV Token, 10DLC registration, or other required messaging registration.

Disclosed AI usage costs — If the campaign uses AI capabilities that create direct usage charges, those charges are disclosed separately.

Other approved third-party costs — If a campaign chooses an optional service or outside data/resource that has a direct cost, it should be identified before use.

Is There a Minimum Monthly Spend?

FreeMessaging.ai does not impose a monthly platform subscription merely to keep an account active. The amount a campaign spends on messaging depends primarily on its actual outreach volume, phone-number usage, required registration, and any other disclosed direct costs.

A campaign can therefore begin with a defined messaging program and expand its volume as campaign needs grow.

What If Our Campaign Already Has an SMS Vendor?

You do not need to replace an existing team or vendor simply to use FreeMessaging.ai. A campaign can use FreeMessaging.ai to add incremental SMS capacity alongside an existing operation.

Because there is no monthly platform fee, the campaign is not taking on another recurring software subscription simply to expand its reach.

Is This the Same as No Managed-Sending Fee?

They are related but different.

Monthly platform fee — A recurring software charge for access to the platform.

Managed-sending fee — An additional fee charged for operating or sending the campaign’s messages.

For the standard FreeMessaging.ai service, both are $0. The campaign still pays the disclosed direct costs required to operate the messaging program.

What This Means for Your Campaign

FreeMessaging.ai is designed so campaign managers can evaluate SMS based on the actual value and direct operating cost of the outreach, rather than committing to another recurring software subscription.

That can be useful whether your campaign is starting political texting for the first time or adding capacity to an existing SMS program.
